Terms of Use

Effective date: October 13, 2026Contact: support@orbelleapp.com

These terms cover your use of Orbelle, the period and cycle tracker for iPhone and iPad sold by Shaun Colver ("we"). By using Orbelle, you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two differ, these terms add to Apple's.

Orbelle is not medical care

Orbelle helps you keep track of your cycle. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Its predictions and insights are patterns in what you log, not professional advice. If something about your health worries you, please talk to a doctor or other healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Pregnancy, fertility and birth control

Orbelle is not a method of birth control and must not be used to prevent pregnancy. Orbelle is not a fertility treatment and must not be relied on to plan or achieve a pregnancy. Fertile-window and ovulation information in the app are estimates based only on the dates and details you enter. You can become pregnant as a result of intercourse on any day of your cycle, including days the app does not show as fertile. Orbelle does not monitor a pregnancy and does not detect, predict or warn about any problem with a pregnancy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for:

You use the app's estimates at your own risk. Talk with a qualified healthcare professional about contraception, fertility, pregnancy and any health concern.

Your data

What you log in Orbelle belongs to you. It is stored on your devices (see the Privacy Policy). We don't hold a copy, so we can't restore lost entries. Keeping your device backed up, or saving Orbelle's encrypted backup file, is up to you.

Orbelle Pro and Orbelle Forever

Using Orbelle

You may use Orbelle for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, its character Aurie or its artwork. The name Orbelle, Aurie and her artwork belong to us.

Changes to Orbelle

We may update, change or stop offering features over time. If we ever remove a paid feature, we will treat the people who paid for it fairly, as required by law and by Apple's rules.

No warranty and limits on liability

Orbelle is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, accurate or always available, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost entries. This includes, without limitation, the matters described above under "Pregnancy, fertility and birth control." Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, except where the consumer laws of your country say otherwise.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Orbelle after that means you accept the changes.
